Deadlift and swim

We usually talked about training-recovery and nutrition, but last night I didn't sleep more than 5 hours.

Today I started early with a class at the studio, then 3 back to back tele-classes (coach U - life coach).

Went to the YMCA to swim and I decided to brick the 2 WODs prescribed for today.

First WOD 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 dead-lift at 65%. Didn't have the log with me to calculate 65% so I did:

1) 45+90=135lb
2) 45+90+90=225lb
3-7) 45+90+90+90=315lb

Straight to the pool to swim the 400yds at 65%. Felt good to be back in the water. I wish we had lanes at IMLP :)

Still feeling my legs from yesterdays ran with the vest :)

Helen @ 70%

Long day! Started with a private class at 7:15am, group class at 8:15 and meetings the rest of the morning.

Tornado alert at 4 and I'm driving to the chyro! My truck was hit my ice rocks but I was able to get to my appointment for a last minute alignment and to be bless by Dr. Erin magic hands.

Went home and keep building the jump boxes for the studio.

The highs are: 12", 18", 24" & 36". The 36" looks like a tall building! But I will use it to train for IM COZUMEL!

Ok, enough chit chat, at 8pm I met HELEN at home. Treadmil ar the basement and swings with 40lb dumbbells at the garage.

Total time: 11:34

After that I packed and prepare everything for my trip to IMLP!

Backsquats @ 70%

Today's WOD 3-3-3-3-3 Backsquats @ 70%. Did it at evening after my 2nd day of teaching at the new studio.

Used same weight at 5 series. 45+90(45x2)+50(25x2)=

All backsquats were down to a medicine ball.

Feeling good! Lake Placid is around the corner!
